A campaign's interaction settings control what a visitor sees on their phone after they select a call to action — the pop-up message, shown at the same moment the campaign's video starts playing on the display — how long that message stays on screen, and how long the campaign keeps playing before the display returns to its rotation. Set them per campaign and per touch-point.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. In the left navigation, select Campaigns.
  2. Select the campaign's name.
  3. Select the Creative tab, then the Call to Action sub-tab.
  4. In the touch-point drop-down, choose the touch-point to update, for example Mobile Store Site (QR Control).
  5. Select the Interaction Settings tab.
  6. Set Show Pop-Up Message when User clicks on Call To Action on, and enter the Pop-Up Message copy, for example Playing on Display.

Optional: choose a Pop-up Icon, its Icon Size in pixels and Icon Position, or upload a Replacement Pop-Up Image.

  7. In Present Pop-Up Message for, enter how many seconds the message stays on the visitor's phone, for example 30.
  8. In Clear Campaign/Interaction Data after, enter the minutes and seconds the campaign runs before the display returns to its rotation, for example 1 min 9 sec.
  9. Select Save Changes.
Set Clear Campaign/Interaction Data after to at least the length of the campaign's video or image duration, otherwise the display cuts the campaign short.

Verify it worked

Select Mobile Preview. The preview shows the campaign banner; selecting its call to action shows your pop-up message with the icon and position you chose. On a connected display, scan the QR code, select the campaign, and confirm the display returns to its rotation after the time you set.
