A display with QR Control shows 1 QR code for all the campaigns on rotation. A visitor who scans it browses every campaign in the carousel rather than waiting for the right one to play. Each campaign needs an onsite banner, and can carry a call to action button that opens the campaign's landing page.

Before you begin

  • The campaign has a Campaign Landing Page URL on its Campaign Brief tab.
  • QR Control is enabled on the display. See Enable QR Control on a display.
  • A banner image for the campaign.

Upload the onsite banner

  1. In the left navigation, select Campaigns, then select the campaign's name.
  2. Select the Creative tab, then Campaign Assets.
  3. Expand ONSITE BANNERS.
  4. Select Upload new Onsite Banner and choose the image. The banner must be uploaded before a call to action can be added.

Add the call to action

  1. Select the Call to Action sub-tab.
  2. In the touch-point drop-down, choose Mobile Store Site (QR Control).
  3. On Call To Action, switch Show CTA (Overlaid over Campaign Banner) on.
  4. Choose Button (with copy) or Button (No copy).
  5. Set the Fill Colour, Button Icon, Icon Size and Button Position.
  6. If the landing page refuses to load inside the mobile site, switch Open Campaign URL in New Tab on.

This option cannot be combined with a pop-up message. If saving shows an error, open Interaction Settings, switch Show Pop-Up Message when User clicks on Call To Action off, select Save Changes, then return to Call To Action and set the option again.

  7. Select Mobile Preview to check the banner and button.
  8. Select Save Changes.

Verify it worked

Scan the display's QR code on a phone. The campaign appears in the carousel with its banner and the button in the position you chose, and selecting the button opens the landing page.
