View a store's network and display status
The platform monitors every display registered to your stores. The Stores / Branches list shows, per store, how many displays are connected and whether any are offline, so you can find problems before the store starts trading. Check it every morning.
Before you begin
- An HQ Admin account. Any HQ Admin role can view the list.
- Displays registered to the store. See Register a new display or device.
Steps
- In the left navigation, select Stores / Branches.
- At the top right of the page, read Total connected displays for the network-wide count.
- In the list, read the column marked with the monitor icon. It shows the number of displays connected to each store, with a status indicator.
- To see only stores with a problem, select the filter icon on that column.
- For a store with displays offline, select the store name, then Visit Retail Manager's Website to open its Retail Admin site and check Displays & Devices → Manage Displays for the individual display.
What the status means
| Indicator | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Red | All displays in the store are offline. The store cannot present personalised experiences at all. | Check the store's internet connection and power. If the store no longer operates, delete the store. |
| Orange | 1 or more displays, but not all, are offline. Experiences on the affected displays are limited. | Troubleshoot the individual display. See View a display's status and time offline. |
| Green | All displays are online. | No action. |
Verify it worked
Every store that is trading today shows a green indicator with the expected number of connected displays.
