Assign a different mobile site template to a store, display or zone
Different stores, and different zones inside a store, can show different menus. Assign a template to a store to change what visitors see from that store's QR code, or assign a template to the displays in a zone to change what visitors see when they scan a display there.
Before you begin
- The template you want to assign exists. See Create a mobile site template for a concierge kiosk for how to create one.
- For a display, QR Control is enabled on the platform. See Enable QR Control and set the default QR code settings.
Assign a template to a store
- In the left navigation, select Stores / Branches.
- Select the store's name, for example Sydney CBD.
- On the Store Details tab, in QR Control - Mobile Site Template, choose the template.
- Select Save Changes.
Assign a template to a display or zone
A zone is a set of displays. Repeat these steps for each display in the zone.
- In the left navigation, select Displays & Devices.
- Select the display's name, for example Landscape-Single 2.
- If you want the name to reflect the zone, on the Display Details tab change Display Name to something like
Store Entrance, then select Save Changes. - Select the Enabled Features tab.
- Tick Enable QR Control, if it is not already ticked.
- In QR Control - Mobile Site Template, choose the template.
- Select Save Changes.
Verify it worked
The QR Control - Mobile Site Template field shows the new template after the page reloads. Scan the store's QR code or the display's QR code on a phone: the site shows the new template's header and menu items.
