Platform Installation
Deploying Personalisation Hub into your own AWS account, and the set-up that follows.
Install the platform
Follow these in order — about an hour end to end.
1Install Personalisation Hub from AWS Marketplace How-to guide
Deploy Personalisation Hub into your own AWS account in six stages — a little over an hour end to end, with about 7 minutes of hands-on set-up.
2Step 1 — Deploy the platform through AWS Marketplace How-to guide
Subscribe in AWS Marketplace and create the CloudFormation stack that builds Personalisation Hub in your own AWS account — about 4 minutes to create.
3Step 2 — Run the Installation Wizard How-to guide
Create the Master Admin account in the Installation Wizard, choose your environment and platform domain, and install the platform — around 55 minutes.
4Step 3 — Set up DNS after installation How-to guide
Add the 2 CNAME records the platform emails you and verify your domain — within 3 days, before the AWS certificate expires.
5Step 4 — First login and platform set-up How-to guide
Sign in to HQ Admin for the first time, set a strong password, verify the platform email address with AWS and complete Platform Set-up.
6Step 5 — Upload your brand, logos and icons How-to guide
Confirm your brand name and business category, then upload logos and icons for dark and light backgrounds so the platform carries your branding.
7Step 6 — Add your stores from Google Places How-to guide
Find your stores in Google Places, add them to the platform and give each one a unique store code so retail staff can be linked to their store.
8Step 7 — Restrict platform access by IP address How-to guide
Limit access to your Personalisation Hub instance to approved IP address ranges — offices, VPN, stores and connected platforms — without locking yourself out.
