Launch a New Campaign creates the campaign brief, the first step of every campaign. You choose how the brief is written. Describe the campaign to the platform's AI assistant, by typing or speaking, and it writes the brief from your description and your brand guidelines. Or write the brief yourself in the form. Both routes end on the same Campaign Brief tab. Allow about 2 minutes.

Before you begin

  • An HQ Admin account.
  • Target audiences and campaign objectives defined under Company Settings → Campaign Settings — see Define target audiences and campaign objectives.
  • Recommended: your brand guidelines PDF uploaded under Company Settings → Brand / Logo / Guidelines — see Upload your brand guidelines for the AI agents. The AI assistant follows them when writing the brief and generating creative.
  • A display type and playlist for each touch-point you want to launch on — see Create a display type and playlist.
  • To use the AI assistant: your provider API keys registered under Platform Admin → AI Models / Integrations. You need an OpenAI key for the brief and copy, a Google Gen AI key for images, and a Google Gen AI (Veo 3.1) or LTX (LTX 2.5) key for video. See Connect AI models and providers. Without them the assistant cannot write the brief; write it yourself instead.

Describe the campaign to the AI assistant

  1. In the left navigation, select Campaigns.
  2. At the top right, select Launch a New Campaign. The Launch a New Campaign dialog opens.
  3. In Talk to me about your campaign?, type your description, or select the microphone icon and speak. While you speak, the icon changes to a pause control; select it to stop.

Describe the brand or product, who it targets, the scene you want to show, and the displays or touch-points to launch on. For example: Launch a campaign for Awesome Bags' new weatherproof handbag, targeting upper class females. Show a lady in a high-end restaurant, raining outside, with the handbag on the table. Launch on the Amazon landscape and Amazon portrait displays.

  4. Check the list under The following Campaign Details have been captured:. The assistant extracts 6 details from your description: Campaign Name, Campaign Detail, Promoted Product, Campaign Objective, Touch Points and Target Audience. If a detail is not captured, add it to your description.
  5. Select Add New Campaign.
  6. Wait while the AI assistant writes the brief. It draws on your brand guidelines and any industry-specific compliance requirements. The campaign opens on its Campaign Brief tab.
  7. Continue with the steps in Review and save the campaign brief.

Write the campaign brief yourself

Use this route when no AI integration is registered, or when the brief is already written.

  1. In the left navigation, select Campaigns.
  2. At the top right, select Launch a New Campaign. The Launch a New Campaign dialog opens.
  3. In the banner at the top of the dialog, If you'd prefer to Manually Add the Campaign, select the click here link.
  4. In the form that opens, enter the Campaign Name and Campaign Details.
  5. Continue with the steps in Review and save the campaign brief, completing each field rather than checking it.

Review and save the campaign brief

  1. Check Campaign Name and Campaign Details. Every field is editable.
  2. If the campaign has a landing page, enter it in Campaign Landing Page URL. Select + Add token to insert a platform token into the URL.
  3. Check Promoted Product(s) and Product SKU(s). Press Enter after each value to add more than 1.
  4. Check Target Audience(s) and Campaign Objective. Both lists come from Campaign Settings.
  5. Under ENABLED TOUCH-POINT(S), turn on each touch-point the campaign runs on, then choose where it plays:
    • Digital Signage → Playlist(s)
    • Store Sites → Mobile Site Template(s)
    • Website → Website pages/sections
  6. Select Update Campaign Brief.
A campaign can be enabled on several playlists at once, for example a landscape and a portrait playlist. When its rules match, the campaign plays on every display in the store that carries one of those playlists.

Verify it worked

The campaign shows Status Not Activated at the top right of the page. It appears in the Campaigns list with its enabled touch-points ticked and its playlists listed. It does not play anywhere until you activate it.

Troubleshooting

The AI assistant does not write a brief, or the request fails

Cause. No integration is registered under Platform Admin → AI Models / Integrations, or the API key on the integration assigned to the brief-writing skill is invalid.

Fix. Register the provider and its API key — see Connect AI models and providers — then launch again. To carry on without AI, write the brief yourself.
