# Add or update a store's address

> Add or correct a store's street address, suburb, postcode, state and country on its Store Details tab in HQ Admin.

A store's address localises campaigns and experiences to that location and gives customers directions from the mobile store site. You add or correct it on the store's **Store Details** tab in HQ Admin. Store staff can also correct it themselves from Retail Admin — see [Validate your store's details and address (Retail Admin)](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/stores-and-retail-data/validate-your-stores-details-and-address-retail-admin/).

## Before you begin

- An HQ Admin account with the Admin role.
- Your organisation's Google Maps API key saved under **Platform Admin → Enabled Features → Google Maps/Places**. Addresses cannot be added without it. ## Steps

1. In the left navigation, select **Stores / Branches**.
2. Select the store name. The store opens on the **Store Details** tab.
3. In **Address**, enter the street address. To add a second address line, select **+ Add Address Field**; to start again, select **Clear**.
4. Complete **Suburb**, **Postcode**, **State** and **Country**.
5. Check **Phone Number**, **Store Email Address** and **Website** while you are on the page.
6. Select **Save Changes**.

> **Note:** When a store is added from Google Places and the listing already has opening hours, those hours are imported with the address. Check them on the **Store Hours** tab before the store goes live.

## Verify it worked

Reopen the store: the address fields hold the values you entered, and the **Stores / Branches** list shows the correct **State**.
