# Update your staff profile

> Change the first name and last name shown to visitors and colleagues from the Profile page in Retail Admin — under a minute.

Your first name appears in the SMS a visitor receives when you pick them up, and your name and photo appear in the STAFF row on the queue page. If your organisation does not use single sign-on, you keep your own profile up to date from Retail Admin. This takes under a minute.

## Before you begin

- A Retail Admin sign-in for your store — see [Sign in to the Retail Admin site (no SAML/SSO)](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/company-set-up-and-users/sign-in-to-the-retail-admin-site-no-saml-sso/), or use single sign-on if your organisation has [Integrate single sign-on (SAML) for store staff](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/company-set-up-and-users/integrate-single-sign-on-saml-for-store-staff/).

> **Note:** If your organisation signs staff in with SAML single sign-on, your name comes from your identity provider. Ask your IT team to change it there.

## Steps

1. In the top-right corner of Retail Admin, select your avatar.
2. Select **Profile**. The **Profile** page opens.
3. Update **First Name** and **Last Name**.
4. Select **Save Changes**.

## Verify it worked

Your new name shows on the **Profile** page and on your chip in the STAFF row of the **Queueing & Appointments** page.
