# Update your profile photo

> Replace the default initials avatar with a photo that visitors see on their phone when you pick them up from the queue.

By default you are shown as your initials in white on a light grey circle. Upload a photo and visitors see it on their phone when you pick them up from the queue, which helps them recognise you. Takes about a minute.

## Before you begin

- A Retail Admin sign-in for your store — see [Sign in to the Retail Admin site (no SAML/SSO)](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/company-set-up-and-users/sign-in-to-the-retail-admin-site-no-saml-sso/), or use single sign-on if your organisation has [Integrate single sign-on (SAML) for store staff](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/company-set-up-and-users/integrate-single-sign-on-saml-for-store-staff/).
- A clear, professional head-and-shoulders photo, saved on the tablet or device you are using. Follow your organisation's guidelines for profile photos.

## Steps

1. In the top-right corner of Retail Admin, select your avatar.
2. Select **Profile**.
3. Next to your current photo or initials, select **Update Picture**.
4. Choose the photo from your device.
5. Select **Save Changes**.

## Verify it worked

Your photo replaces the initials on the **Profile** page, in the top-right avatar and on your chip in the STAFF row of the queue page.
