Personalisation Hub installs into your own AWS account from AWS Marketplace. The whole process takes a little over an hour, of which roughly 7 minutes is hands-on — the rest is AWS building the stack and installing the platform.

This page is the map. Each stage has its own article with the detail.

## Before you begin

- An AWS account, with permission to subscribe to Marketplace products and create CloudFormation stacks that include IAM resources.
- The decisions and assets in the [pre-installation check-list](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/getting-started/pre-installation-checklist/), agreed with your IT team.
- Someone who can add DNS records for your domain within 3 days of installation finishing.

## The six stages

| --- | --- | --- | --- |

## Follow the stages in order

1. [Step 1 — Deploy the platform through AWS Marketplace](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-1-deploy-the-platform-through-aws-marketplace/) — subscribe, launch, and create the CloudFormation stack.
2. [Step 2 — Run the Installation Wizard](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-2-run-the-installation-wizard/) — create the Master Admin account and install the platform.
3. [Step 3 — Set up DNS after installation](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-3-set-up-dns-after-installation/) — add the CNAME records and verify your domain.
4. [Step 4 — First login and platform set-up](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-4-first-login-and-platform-set-up/) — sign in and start configuring the platform.
5. [Step 5 — Upload your brand, logos and icons](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-5-upload-your-brand-logos-and-icons/).
6. [Step 6 — Add your stores from Google Places](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-6-add-your-stores-from-google-places/).
7. [Step 7 — Restrict platform access by IP address](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/platform-installation/step-7-restrict-platform-access-by-ip-address/).

> **Important:** Two decisions in stage 4 are permanent: the platform domain, which must sit on your organisation's primary domain, and the AWS Region. Agree both before you start.

## Verify it worked

Installation is complete when you can sign in at your platform domain (for example `ph.yourdomain.com`) with the Master Admin email address and your new password.
