# Change the QR code size, colour or position on a display

> Override the default QR Control settings for 1 display so its QR code fits the screen and the content around it.

Each display can override the platform's default QR code settings. Use this when a display's content leaves no room for the default size, or when the default colour does not contrast with the creative.

## Before you begin

- An HQ Admin account.
- QR Control enabled at platform level — see [Enable QR Control and set the default QR code settings](https://personalisationhub.com/support-centre/personalisation-and-ai/enable-qr-control-and-set-the-default-qr-code-settings/).

## Steps

1. In the left navigation, select **Displays & Devices**.
2. Select the display's name.
3. Select the **Enabled Features** tab.
4. Tick **Enable QR Control**. Its settings appear under it.
5. In **Size**, enter the QR code's width in pixels, for example `100`.
6. Select the **Qr Code Colour** swatch and choose a colour that contrasts with the campaign creative.
7. Select the **Connected Icon/Logo Colour** swatch and choose the colour of the icon shown once a phone is connected to the display.
8. In **QR Control - Mobile Site Template**, choose the template that opens when a visitor scans this display's QR code.
9. Select **Save Changes**.

## Verify it worked

Within a minute the display redraws its QR code at the new size and colour. Scan it: the mobile site template you chose opens, and the QR code on the display changes to the connected icon in the colour you set.
