Every external platform or system that talks to Personalisation Hub — Google Business Profile, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), kiosk players, your mobile app through the Visitor API — authenticates with its own Secret/Token. Create one per integration under **API Authentication**. Allow about 2 minutes per token.

## Before you begin

- An HQ Admin account with the Admin role.
- A list of the external platforms you plan to connect. If you intend to connect several, create all their tokens now.

## Steps

1. In the left navigation, select **Platform Admin**.
2. Under **Enabled Features**, select **API Authentication**.
3. Select **Add New Platform**.
4. In **Platform Name**, enter a descriptive name — for example `Google Business Profile` or `AEM & Kiosk Players`.
5. Select the copy icon next to the generated **Secret/Token** and store the value somewhere secure, such as your organisation's password manager.
6. Select **Save**.

> **Important:** Do not delete the row named **Digital Signage (Do Not Delete)**. The platform's own displays authenticate with it.

## Verify it worked

The table lists your new **Platform Name** with its **Secret/Token** masked, the eye icon reveals the value, and the count of **Connected Platforms / Systems** at the top of the page has increased by 1.

## Remove a token

To revoke an integration's access, select the trash icon on its row. Any system still using that token loses access immediately.
