# Update a display's image or icon

> Replace the picture shown next to a display in HQ Admin and Retail Admin so staff can recognise the screen at a glance.

Each display has a picture that appears next to it in HQ Admin and on the staff tablet. A photo of the actual screen in its position helps staff recognise it instantly. Allow about 2 minutes.

## Before you begin

- An HQ Admin account with permission to manage displays and devices. Store staff can do the same for their own store's displays from Retail Admin.
- An image file of the display, ideally a photo taken in store.

## Steps

1. In the left navigation, select **Stores / Branches**.
2. In the store's row, select the number of displays. The store's connected displays are listed.
3. Select the display's **Name**, for example *Concierge Kiosk*. The **Display Details** tab opens with the current picture at the right.
4. Select **Update Picture**.
5. If an image is already shown, select the delete (bin) icon to remove it.
6. Select **Browse** and choose the new image file.
7. Adjust the size and position of the image in the crop frame.
8. Select **Save**.

## Verify it worked

The new picture appears at the right of the **Display Details** tab, and as the thumbnail for that display in **Displays & Devices → Manage Displays** in Retail Admin.

## In Retail Admin

Store staff open **Displays & Devices → Manage Displays**, select the display's details, and select **Update Picture** next to the thumbnail. The remaining steps are the same.
