# Add custom menu links (CTA settings) to HQ Admin and Retail Admin

> Add your own links to the HQ Admin or Retail Admin left-hand menu, show or hide the log-out button and back-link, and set the default Retail Admin profile image.

CTA Settings let you add your own links (for example an intranet page or a training site) to the left-hand navigation of HQ Admin, Retail Admin or both. The same page controls whether Retail Admin shows a log-out button and a back-link, and the default profile image for retail staff. Allow about 5 minutes.

## Before you begin

- An HQ Admin account with the Admin role.
- The name and full URL of each link you want to add.
- For the profile image, a transparent PNG or JPG of 300 x 300 pixels, 1 MB or smaller.

## Add a menu link

1. In the left navigation, select **Company Settings**.
2. In the sub-navigation, expand **Retail Settings** and select **CTA Settings**.
3. Under **HQ ADMIN - LEFT HAND NAV MENU** or **RETAIL ADMIN - LEFT HAND NAV MENU**, select **+ Add Category URL**.
4. Enter the link text in **CTA Name**.
5. Enter the full URL in **Experience URL**.
6. Select **Save Changes**.

## Set the log-out button, back-link and profile image

1. On the same page, select or clear **Show Log-out button**.
2. Select or clear **Show/Add a back-link**.
3. Under **Update the Default Profile Image that gets used for your Retail Admin sites**, select **Update** and choose your image.
4. Select **Save Changes**.

## Verify it worked

The category count under the section you edited increases and the link appears in the left navigation of HQ Admin or Retail Admin after the page reloads. A retail staff member without a photo shows the new default profile image.
